Here's how it works:
For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Heirloom's direct air capture technology enhances the carbon mineralization process. Heirloom's technology speeds up the rate at which naturally occurring minerals capture COβ rather than using energy-intensive fans to draw air in.

Charm captures COβ using plant waste, converts it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid, and safely stores it deep undergroundβout of reach of bushfires and soil erosion.

In 2020, one of our major goals was to introduce 100% recycled packaging across our entire product range.Β We are proud that our leading natural health brand, Vital All-in-One, was one of the first supplements to be sold in packaging made from 100% recycled plastic.Β This was extended across the rest of the Vital range of products, as well as across all Martin & Pleasance owned brands where possible.

As a company, we will continue to take an active role in reducing our environmental footprint & make the protection of our climate & our environment a priority in everything we do as a business.
Plant Based Ingredients
We use only plant based ingredients in all of our product formulations, and we use certified organic ingredients where possible. Not only does research suggest this is better for human health, but it also has a smaller enviromental footprint when compared to livestock agriculture. We also source our ingredients from farmers actively promoting sustainable farming practices, to restore biodiveristy.
